We replaced an old electric water heater, and the water we drained out of it shows why. That orange-brown water in the top left is the rust and sediment that had been building up inside the tank for years.

The bottom left photo is the old unit after we pulled it out. On the right is the new Rheem Performance electric water heater, installed with fresh connections and ready for years of clean hot water.
